House Petrovich is a Barovian noble family with significant holdings in Vallaki. House Petrovich has a strong connection to the Dawnic Church, and has historically been the source of many clergy throughout the County of Barovia. This connection results from their ancestor, Saint Remus of Proske.
House Petrovich is facing extinction, as it lacks a legitemate heir of the House. With Father Lucien Petrovich — the previous head — having never married nor fathering children, and then abdicating for the cloth, the mantle falls to Lydia Petrovna who has joined House Vallakovich by marriage.
