Baron

A Baron is a noble title subservient to a Count, who rules over a Barony (a subdivision of a County). There are no official Baronies in the County of Barovia — as Strahd von Zarovich would not allow such subdivision, nor is it large enough to warrant such — though the Burgomeister of Vallaki — Vargas Vallakovich — styles himself as a "Baron."
