Lord Buford Benedict Ainsley (a.k.a. Master Tinker)

Lord of the Eastern District, Buford Benedict Ainsley is a master Gnome artificer. He was top of his class back in his days at the Magic School. He isn't the most talkative person and is very much into his work. His ultimate plans are still unknown, but he is responsible for planning out he entire Hugo Express as well as any new inventions that Hugo City comes up with. His magical prowess is rivaled by no one and spends all of his time hidden from the public in his estate in the center of Hugo City. Not much is known about his personal beliefs or about him in general. He works from his estate and trusts that his district will take care of themselves. The Eastern District has a lot of old traditional families so he doesn't have to worry about much. A lot of people who work here are artificers or mine mystic ore. They live simple lives and therefore don't need to be governed too much.

Buford was always top of his class and showed promise in his youth for tinkering and magic. He actually came up with the idea for an express system when he was was a child. He was admitted to the famous Hugo's School of Magic and was valedictorian for his class. However, he didn't show up for his speech and was instead investing in some land in the Artificer's Alcove. He know owns the most popular magic store in Hugo City, Arcane Affinity. He handles his civil duties fastly so that he can work on his latest inventions. He only accepted the title of "Lord" so that he could get more money for his prototypes.
