Candle, the defacto "Staff Sorceror" of The Free Jackals, is an extremely competent and powerful mage who finds joy in research of the arcane and any kind of hidden knowledge and secrets. Recruited out of the College of Magecraft in Renelestre (where she earned her Seals in Spell History and Formation, and in Abjuration) by then Staff Sorcerer Crow. Candle came to Renelestre from Concordat, where she spent her first 20 or so odd years. Little is known about her time there, but she claims to have a lineage descended directly from one of the Hell Lords (though no one has made it long enough into her explanation to discover which one that is; as it turns out, hell-being genealogies are complicated).
