He maintains a fair amount of anti-royalilst and progressive policies concerning the aristocracy, and he seems to hold a preference for somewhat pro-democratic views. He was recently interviewed by the Privy Council in order to decide whether The Spicers guild should be given administration over various territories formerly held by House Valvetti, as well as be given one of two new places on the expanded Privy Council.
