Moranga

Moranga is the largest and northernmost continent on Kanaloa. It is sparsely populated but highly urbanized with around 80% of people residing in cities. There is no unified government; legal and political authority is dispersed amongst the dozens of city-states that dot the landscape. The three largest settlements are corporate enclaves -

1. Nouvelle Funa - Diversified Metal of Kinshasa,
2. Zifeng - Jiangsu Consortium, and
3. Wychwood - Amelin Resources

Climate

The climate of Moranga would be classified as Subarctic with long cold winters and short warm summers. As expected, the further north one goes, the colder the average temperature. Coastal regions experience greater yearly precipitation than the more inland regions.

Natural Resources

The continent is rich in a wide variety of minerals and ores and was home to a large number of mining operations before the Machine Plague. Soil is quite poor for large scale farming but the southern grasslands support large numbers of both native and imported Terran herbivores.
