Owlbear Attack

The Owlbear that broke its way into the Blighted Woods is making its way towards Tanjarr! Alarms have been sounded and all capable fighters are being summoned to respond to the threat!   But something seems a bit off about this Owlbear...

Tanjarr's millitia move to engage an attacking owlbear. Such a creature could cause untold damage if it manage to be allowed into the village. However, strange thorned vines protrude from the creatures body, lashing out at anyone that gets close.   Ciaren (Asog's father) is badly wounded in the fight, but thanks to a critical strike from Asog the Owlbear is quickly dispatched before any one else was serious injured or worse. Gux arrives on the scene to provide healing to the injured.   After the fight, the vines erupt from the body of the owlbear, but are quickly destroyed by a targeted bolt of lightning by one of the Forest Lords enforcers, who had been sent to deal with the owlbear, but arrived moments after the fatal blow was struck. This enforcer was Dandylion.
