Session 11 - The Harvest Festival Report - P1

General Summary

The party have some downtime before the harvest celebration begins.

• Asog goes home and relaxes and gets rid of his exhaustion.

• Darnalore heads home to spend time with her family. She helps her mother cook some meals for tonights celebrations.

• Icarus goes and robs some magical items from Uriel's tower.
  • He steals a Ring of Spell Storing (It has a Reincarnate Spell stored inside - It has been empowered by touching the crystal in Uriel's tower, it will activate with a single action rather than taking an hour)
  • He has a white glove that makes icecubes appear by snapping your fingers while wearing it. If attuned to it, the wearer can cast Cone of Cold. Doing so destroys the glove.
  • He stole a stone giants toe nail from the alchemy station.

• Ophellia begins work on carving some Wyvern parts (bones & teeth) into a spell component for the Augury spell.

• Zolv spends some time practising a routine to do at the festival itself.

The party

Arriving one by one, the party gather. A lot of fuss is made over Icarus's theft of items from Uriel, however he manages to keep a hold of most of them, Ophellia gains possession of the toe nail. Zolv puts on his show, ending with a spectacular finishing move of teleporting two children onto the roof-tops of nearby buildings. Asog and Icarus ensure the children are safely resuced. During Zolv's show, they notice Sarah and Garrat wander off in different directions. They are suspicous that they are meeting up for some reason. After the show, Aragon asks Ophellia if she has seen his sister, Sarah. She points in the direction she went in and he goes off to search for her.
Meanwhile, Icarus goes for a jog around the village and sees a large group of men knocking down the millitia man on guard at the bridge. He runs back to warn the others ahead of their arrival. The mysterious group of armed men get the villagers to line up and e inspected by a mysterious individual dressed in white (Stag). After inspecting everyone he separates the party and speaks to them, wanting to hire them. He promises great reward if they agree, but they are worried that bad things will happen if they agree. After a lot of back and forth, four of them saying no, they are all eventually cooersed by their own worries and concerns for their family and friends to say yes.
We end the session there, we will continue the interaction next week.
