Khaine

(a.k.a. the Bloody Handed)

The Dark god of Lycanthropes and Lord of the Blood Hunt.
Khaine is the one of the children of Maugan-Ra, and as such holds the title of Demon Prince.

The Great Demon War

During the Great Demon War, Khaine was always amongst the first of the Demon Princes to step foot upon the battlefield, leading hordes of demons on a rampage across the continent of Iyos. During that time, Khaine took great delight in spreading the curse of lycanthropy amongst the races of the continent of Iyos, forcing them to transform into savage, mindless killers during the nights of the new moons.
Khaine also had the power to force the transformation of those infected with his curse at will, adding them to the horde of murder and chaos as he went. Often, he would infect his victims, and allow them to escape. Once they were safely behind the walls of fortified locations, he would force them to transform, sewing confusion and chaos from within as he attacked from outside. Even one of his cursed victims could cause untold harm due to their inhuman resilience and strength.

Lord of the Hunt, Sealed Away

Near the end of the war, Callen, Jan'zar and a number of Daemon's fought Khaine and managed to defeat him. While unable to kill him, they did seal him away, stopping his relentless and endless assault upon the mortal races.

A Curse Unending

Despite having been sealed away, the numerous curses of lycanthropy he spread amongst the people of the world still linger to this day.

Artifacts

Blood of Khaine

This artifact is said to be the blood of Khaine himself. Should someone drink a single drop of the blood, it is said to transform them into a powerful lycanthrope with the power to command other lycanthropes.
The artifact is rumoured to have been destroyed in the year 934 AD, after a cult of lycanthropes worshipping Khaine attempted to use it to raise an army of lycanthropes. Their plans were thwarted, and the blood was said to have been incinerated in holy fire.
