Kippen Woods
Geography
The Kippen Woods are small in size when compared to the other forests of Saros. Located on the northwestern bluffs of Blackfen Bay, the woods are visible to any ships traveling through the waters. The Teilen River forms the northern edge of the entire wood. A portion of the woods is maintained within the walls of the imperial capital of Alimmar. This section is used as a nature reserve as well as a training ground for soldiers.
Fauna & Flora
Being a small woodland, the Kippen woods do not support much wildlife. Mostly birds and deer live within the woods. Even flora is scarce except for timber and some herbs that grow within the woods.
Natural Resources
Other than a low amount of lumber produced from the woods, several types of herbs and plant life can be gathered. Hunting within the woods however is strictly forbidden by Empire law.
