Cinder Hills
Geography
The rolling Cinder Hills accompany Mount Draksil in the barren landscape of the southern peninsula of Saros. Formed from the remains of the peak of the mountain after a recent explosion and the settling of the ash from it as well. Covering the entire landscape from shore to shore and farther west the hills are a reminder of the desolation and destruction that befalls the continent when the volcano erupts.
Fauna & Flora
Very few creatures live in the region around the volcano, mostly scavengers, and lizard-like animals that find comfort in the barren landscape reside in the area. Living plantlife is rare in the Cinder Hills however one may find small weeds and flowers growing in random locations throughout. Most of the visible plant life that existed before the eruptions have either crumbled away, been crushed by the flying rocks or rests dead and rotting. With little resources that support life in the area, the most someone can gather from the region is the fertile soil that comes from the volcanic rock when used in a more calm environment. Beneath the soil and rock however, there is a plentitude of minerals both scattered from the explosions or uncovered in their wake.
