Because he was the Wielder of the Violet Power, Aidan had deep violet eyes that match the color of his magic. He also is remembered for his white hair, which he acquired due to the nearly-fatal amount of energy required to destroy the volcano.

Personal history
Aidan was born in Inara on the Berk border near the Alta Mountains. For much of his childhood and teenage years, sorcerers sought him out to offer training in magic, as he was born The Wielder of the Violet Power, the most powerful sorcerer known to exist. His mother, however, could not bear to be parted from him and longed for him to live a normal life in Inara, as he was the only family she had remaining.
In Year 204, when Aidan was eighteen, the volcano close to Inara erupted, nearly destroying the town. Not much was known about the volcano - they did not even know what to call it as it had never been known to erupt before and the people of Inara had thought it simply another mountain. Aidan, along with his friend and fellow sorcerer, Eryn Watcher, undertook a personal quest to learn about magic, the mountain, and how to destroy it. This they were able to do, though not without a large army of sorcerers, some of whom sacrificed their lives to destroy the volcano.
After the volcano was destroyed, Aidan continued learning all he could of magic and attempting to do what good he was able to for as many people as possible, often traveling outside of Berk to do so. He returned to Inara frequently, and was the one to discover the material known as Altmyr that had been created by the magic of the sorcerers on the molten material within the volcano. Eryn Watcher remained in Inara, ensuring Aidan was immediately alerted if the magic fell away from the mountain and it returned to its destructive nature. He also assisted in discovering the properties of the new Altmyr material.

Aidan's education, both in magic and many other topics, was done through his own experience and through brief, informal apprenticeships to several sorcerers throughout Berk, Algoma, and Phelin.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Aidan's greatest accomplishment remains his creation of the spell and method for destroying the volcano at Inara.

Motivation
Aidan's motives were to save his hometown of Inara from the destructive power of the volcano. He did not wish to have the town, his friends, and his mother destroyed by the mountain's power.
Wealth & Financial state
Because he moved frequently throughout the countries of Ayrith, Aidan did not spend much time acquiring wealth. What he did acquire he often sent back to Inara for his mother and his friend, Eryn. His status as such a powerful sorcerer meant he was frequently provided food and lodging at no cost, and so required little in the way of spending money.
