Star Parasitism

Entering the host's body, mind control, mild body horror
Not even stars are safe from pesky parasites. One such freeloader is Rebusa, a gveleshapi linked to Lavran Lavvaley. It soars through the cosmos, looking for stars with weakened shells.
The star wishes to oppose the assault, but forms a hole in its shell and lets Rebusa inside its body. The victim gradually becomes apathetic, losing memories and a sense of self. In the end, Rebusa erases the host’s mind and replaces it with its own.
After a certain time, the host feels an itch spreading throughout its flesh, like something moving beneath the skin. Unable to bear the ache, the star squirms inside the shell for relief.
The discomfort soon ceases as numbness overtakes the gveleshapi. It begins with the limbs, causing a complete loss of control over the appendages. The star’s limb muscles and eyes atrophy at a rapid pace and disappear without a trace. Finally, Rebusa’s eyes and ribbon-like protrusions emerge from the victim’s body and the parasite becomes one with the host.
Mind Alteration
Upon finding the target, it speaks a command.“You don’t want to invite me in, do you?”
