Strait of Dalkaria (dahl-kar-ee-ya)

This strait runs between the island of Dalkaria and the northern reaches of eastern Ayndrinor. Its southern boundary is often defined as Icebreak Isle, while its northern boundary is unknown but believed to be in a far northern glacial land. For most of the year, the strait is choked by ice and icebergs, making it nearly impossible to traverse in the winter and only marginally safer in the spring and autumn. Icebreaker ships are common sight in the strait at all times of the year - even summer - as they hope to detect and break up any bergs that might otherwise sink or injure the ships that traverse its waters.
