Adronis Outpost (ah-droh-niss)
Among the sparse island villages and atolls of the Faedrion Archipelago the oceanborne Triton people have recently established an outpost on the coast of the Endless Seas. For a long time, their people would travel to the surface and try to find passage on ships, venturing to ports and further areas thereafter. The Triton leadership decided they wanted an actual outpost from which to interact with merchants and learn more about the world. As of yet, Adronis has not been approached - at least not to public knowledge - by the Panache Entente and is still a completely independent island village at the time.
With only a few dozen people - and not all of them Triton - this settlement is just getting established and buildings its reputation among the seafaring peoples of the world. In the short two years since its founding, the village has built a sprawling but very rudimentary port facility capable of docking up to a couple dozen ships. There are no formal warehouses, though a few ramshackle buildings serve as the current storage facilities for what provisions the Triton have been able to trade for and stockpile. The small isle on which Adronis is located has a fair amount of fruit and vegetation that are able to be cultivated and stored up, in addition to what they are able to trade for with merchant ships who dock at their port.
Demographics
Most of the population are of Triton or water genasi descent, while there are a few humans, halflings, and other races. These tend to be lone individual sailors who settle on the island, as opposed to families who would've moved to other places for better opportunity. Things on the island tend to be mostly communal, and the only type of aristocrat that exists is the superintendent of the post that is appointed by the Triton leadership.
Defences
The island village has very little in the way of formal defenses. There is a small armory near the docks that stores the Triton weapons in case of attack, but for the most part these are only used for protection from wildlife during foraging runs into the island's interior. There are no ballistae, catapults, or other defenses that guard the coast or the island's people.
