Boetia Dynikos Character in Axora | World Anvil

Boetia Dynikos

Overview

Boetia Dynikos runs the underground Colosseum in Ialos.

Appearance

She is tall and incredibly muscular. She has long blonde hair, which she braids in an Essidonian style. She is usually found wearing a leather and mesh ensemble that leaves onlookers with no doubt how physically fit she is.

Personality

In reality, her physical strength is a front. She maintains a prickly facade for her work, to keep the combatants in line and providing no questions as to who's the boss. To those she deems friends, she is far more affable with. Whichever version of Boetia you get, though, she remains a straightforward person and doesn't suffer fools gladly.

History

Boetia's history is a public mystery. Even now she is only known to those who are aware of the Colosseum in the first place. The story she has told a select few is that she stumbled upon it whilst hiding from some chasing faction (whether she or they, or both, were the criminals in this story, she deigns to leave out). Regardless of how she found the Colosseum, she quickly understood its potential. She worked with less-than-legal organisations, such as The Great Blades, to acquire monsters and beasts for the bouts in her arena but that was the extent of her alliance with such organisations. Following The Great Blades' leader's capture, she now uses the Voi Technia and Linus Bohr to fulfil those requirements.   Her blonde hair is a rarity for an Ialos native, and she deliberately braids it in an Essidonian style, but in truth, she does hail from the city, just with heritage from that region in her bloodline. The only person she has told this to is her girlfriend, Tsarra Petsalor.
