Gabrichan Wine

Overview

Gabrichen wine is known to be one of the finest wines produced on Axeram. The Vineyards that produce the wine is located in the small town of Gabrich, located in the Kingdom of Igrahne-Valen. The whole town of Garbich relies on the trade of wine as it's their major export and due to its popularity has raised the quality of life within the town tenfold. The trade of the wine has helped the entire area thrive, the surrounding towns and cities benefitting from its export as well.

Quality

From a quick inspection, there is nothing unique about the production of Gabrichan wine, as they follow the same methods as anyone else. If one were to take a close look at the soil and the river that feeds the land, however, one would find that the area is unusually rich in nutrients and the growth rate of the grapes is incredibly fast. The town is capable of producing twice the amount of grapes in one season than other vineyards. The river itself is incredibly pure to drink from and seems to be the source of such fertile land. No one is sure as to why the river is so special and any attempts at journeying into the abandoned forest that the river comes from has proven too dangerous to be worth the risk.

History

Originally the town of Gabrich was settled as a fishing village, alongside the nearby river. However, when the quality of soil was discovered the townspeople decided to change to a more valuable export, wine. Before long Gabrichan wine spread across Valothmir. Then when the Southern Sands Trading Company started trading, the wine travelled the globe and became appraised worldwide.
