Overview

Most often found in the Garden Town of Oazė, the Dulketas Falcon, commonly known by the inhabitants of Oaze as the Messenger Falcon, is the fastest way to send a message across the Dulkėtas Dykuma without using magic. In fact, reducing reliance on magic was part of the motivation for taming this falcon.
Normally a predator in the wild, these domesticated birds have the added benefit of bringing food in addition to the message. The bird may not want to share though. It depends on how hungry they are.

Why Falcons?

Because they were easier to tame than Bronze Pigeons. Bronze pigeons are native to the Dulketas Dykuma although they are highly mischievous.
Vultures were a no go.
Ravens are another option, but they have a mind of their own. No one in the Dulketas are skilled enough to fully tame them. That, and ravens tend to live in areas surrounding the desert, not within it.

How Fast can These Falcons Go?

Fast. Messenger Falcons can reach anywhere in the Dulketas in a day.

How Reliable Are These Falcons?

Very reliable, if given accurate and correct instructions. They follow directions to the letter. This is why certain people are specially trained to handle Messenger Falcons.

What Kind of Food Could Falcons Bring?

Small rodents, small snakes, and maybe a scorpion. Depends on what's available on a given day.
