Kingdom of Kerasteio

The Kingdom of Kerasteio is one of two predominantly firebender nations. It is Located in the Archipelago of Lavadrakon. The Kingdom is a Diarchic oligarchy, meaning it is ruled by two Kings or Queens, one being entitled King/Queen of the Flaming Dragons and the other King/Queen of the Eternal Ember . Since the foundation of the Kingdom of Kerasteio the Flaming Dragon ruler has been from the house of and the Eternal Ember from the house of ????.

Structure

The King of the Flaming Dragon and of the Eternal Ember are the highest titles within the Kingdom, they are equal in power and both are hereditary titles. Following is the Exintaris, a council of men over the age of sixty and the two Kings that functions as a supreme court and debates motions which are to be put before the citizen assembly. After that are the members of the Megalpente, an assembly of the Lords of the different territories. This assembly is foccused on the more economic or military aspects of the nation.
