The Shānrén have a yellowish-bronze complexion, straight black hair, and dark, almond-shaped eyes. Major language groups and dialects
The Shānrén primarily speak Shāwén, their traditional language. To facilitate trade and diplomacy, they developed Eastern Common, now widely used across the Far East. Many Shānrén also speak Dwarvish, enabling communication with the Zhūrú dwarves who share the Empire of Shang.
