Avalon Kingdom
A kingdom that once ruled most of Avalon Valley. Now it is a shadow of it's former self. A strong shadow, but shadow nonetheless. Started by King Carson Jeptson shortly after the 1st Aryan War. Avalon Kingdom is still ruled by the Jeptson Dynasty. Currently they rule over territory south of the River of Tears to the Baddenburg Wood.
Avalon Kingdom has a Greco-Roman style in dress and architecture. Their army phalanxes and dragon riders still strike fear even though their numbers have diminished somewhat. It's people are proud of their heritage and often viewed as haughty but trustworthy. While before they had a rivalry with Norden Reunia the Age of the Godless have forced these two nations to band together. Though with less and less cultists being found many wonder how long it will be before the kingdom tries to retake its old capital. Camelot.

Demography and Population
Traditional Food: Avalin food generally consists of flat breads, meats and vegetables. Dinners make their own small skewers and cook these skewers in a communal pot of oil, sauce, or broth. Meal time is considered a social event where people are expected to discus all manner of topics. Meals generally start with a course of flat bread dipped in fish sauce and honey. The ending course is also flat bread dipped in olive oil and spices. Most city dwelling Avalin eat 3-5 small meals a day. 1-2 in the morning. 1 in the afternoon and another 1-2 in the evening. Water and wine are the most common drinks served. Those living in more rural areas eat 2-3 meals a day. One in the morning, 1 in the afternoon or evening and another possible meal in late in the evening.
Dress: Most Avalin dress in Greco-Roman tunics, togas and dresses. Tunics are used for everyday wear especially when doing manual labor. When men or woman go into the market for food they often wear colorful shoulder capes or sashes as a fashion statement and or symbol of wealth. Togas are worn during formal events by men while women wear dresses. Women's dresses are also Greco-Roman in style with more modest dresses used for public and shorter more revealing ones used for home wear.
Foreign Relations
Norden Reunia: Avalon Kingdom and Norden Reunia have had a complicated relationship. At first the two were somewhat allies against the Aryans and Cult of the Lady. However after the deaths of Carson Jeptsons, Marcus Fae, and William Hoffman. Relations between the two nations soured. Things got worse during the War of Wheat when Avalon Kingdom tried to force Norden Reunia to fight Suna Kinorsca. Not appreciating being threatened Norden declared war on Avalon Kingdom. During this war Norden troops conquered Avalon's capital Camelot. Ever sense this the two kingdoms have been in a kind of cold war even while helping each other survive cultists.
Baldur: Avalon Kingdom and Baldur have been bitter rivals ever sense Baldur's war of independence. While Avalon has not directly challenged Baldur's right to self rule. They have entered a shadow war or sorts with Baldur. Instead of using official means. The two nations use spies, mercenaries, and privateers to sabotage the other.
Korvaskr: Ever sense the War of Wheat the Dwarves and Avalon Kingdom have had a solid alliance. Trade has blossomed between the two causing some jealousy with Norden and Baldur.
Prussia: There slight distrust between these two nations. The common people of Avalon Kingdom do not trust Prussians due to heritage. Those in power do not forget how Prussia stood neutral during the War of Wheat and actively traded weapons and food with Suna Kinorsca.
Mulvaru Coast Confederacy: Perhaps the next greatest rival for Avalon next to Norden. Avalon Kingdom had allowed the Lowe, Orcs, and Kobolds to have semi-independent cities along the coast with the Adveni Sea. However after many years those cities decided their semi-independence was not enough. Gaining support from Waterdeep, Baldur, and Prussia; Rebels seized power in a short war of independence. Ever sense then Avalon Kingdom has tried to find ways to retake the territory they lost.
Suna Kinorsca: There is little interaction between the High Elves and Avalon Kingdom. There is some trade but little diplomatic interaction. Neither kingdom even owns an embassy in the others nations capital. Avalon Kingdom distrusts the High Elves especially due to the Elve's history with cults and Eldritch beings.
RAIJINGUSAN KYOWAKOKU (REPUBLIC OF THE RISING SUN): Due to the distance between the two nations there isn't a lot of interaction between these two nations. Each does have an embassy in the other nation to keep communication open. During the Aryan Wars Avalon Kingdom and the Republic of the Rising Sun were close allies. There is some trade between the two nations, mostly food products coming from the Rising Sun and clothing being sent from Avalon.
Azteca: Azteca used to be Avalon Kingdom's largest trading partner. After Baldur and the Mulvaru Coast won their independence this changed. Due to Avalon Kingdom loosing most of their ports there is fewer docks for Azteca ships. The two nations have collaborated to build larger sailing vessels as well as fleets of air ships to try and make up the difference. While the two nations enjoy doing business with each other they have not entered into a formal diplomatic alliance.
Aryan Empire: Bitter enemies from the from the Great Cataclysm to current day. Avalon Kingdom has existed in a near constant war with the Aryan Empire. The Empire has at times attempted t parlay with Avalon Kingdom. However most of their diplomats are sent home headless.
Mer City States: Due to the aloofness of the Mer there is little interaction between the two nations. Mer do not entirely trust those from Avalon Kingdom due to it's whaling operations.
Ethics
Avalins value loyalty, trustworthiness and knowledge above most things. In marriage physical and emotional intimacy are prized. Spouses are expected to be considered more important than ones own family and children. This however is not an excuse to abuse or neglect ones children.
Trust in the God's, then in our minds.
