• A large cover charge must be paid at the door, which has several hired guards standing by
• The interior is luxury in every sense.
• Upon stepping foot in the tavern, the plush rug you step on magically cleans the dirt, mud and debris off your shoes
• The walls are Wood-paneled and are adorned by exquisite paintings
• The many carpets are plush, clean and finely embroidered with elaborate patterns
• The bar is precision crafted out of the finest materials and is trimmed with beautifully carved maple
• Numerous luxury wines and drink sit elegantly behind the bar
• The tantalizing scent of gourmet food makes your mouth water
• Wonderful live music excites your ears
• Numerous important people gather at tables over the fine food and drink

History

An old shield hangs on the wall with a strange crest on it. The owner claims it is antique and forgot where he got it. In reality, it is the crest of the old kingdom that used to reside here before The Dark Times. This shield shows that this is a safe place for loyalists of the old rulers who wish to strip Waterdeep of its ruling powers and reinstate the old kingdom. They meet here at night sometimes to discuss this
