History

The history of Aeshi Glacier dates back to a time far beyond the founding of Oblon in 390 F.M. (Before Magic). The dwarfs who lived in the vicinity of the glacier had a long-standing tradition of fighting over the glacier lake, which was of great significance to their culture. According to their beliefs, every weapon that was cleaned in the Aeshi Glacier Lake was blessed by their ancestors and the warriors of the past. This sacred ritual was fiercely contested by the dwarfs who inhabited the area even before Oblon was founded, resulting in centuries of conflict.       However, when the war between Oblon and the Long Xae Dynasty erupted, the dwarfs put aside their differences and allowed every dwarf to bless their weapon in the glacier lake, regardless of their affiliation. After the war had ended, they once again wanted to claim the area for themselves. The dwarfs, however, agreed to let only the worthy ones bless their weapons in the glacier lake and leave it untouched for the rest of the time. In exchange, they agreed to relinquish their borders and become part of one unified country.       In modern times, the Aeshi Glacier and its lake have become a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world. However, it is only accessible for a few months each year, during which time people can travel across the lake or take a dip in its crystal-clear waters. Despite the passing of time, the glacier lake remains a treasured place of great cultural and historical significance to the dwarfs and their descendants.
