The Lunar Forge
Deep within the Duskspire Ridge beneath far beneath the monastery of The Lonomia Court lies an ancient hidden forge. It's existence is only known to members of the Court and a clan of ancient Dwarves known as the Lunar Smiths who work it.
The Lunar Forge is the only forge in all of Aurelimoore that is capable of forging Deradium. This forge is where the Lunar Smiths forge the Deradium Daggers of the Exarch before they undergo the blood ritual for each of the Exarchs of the Court.
Purpose / Function
This forge is the primary forge used in crafting weapons for members of The Lonomia Court and is the exclusive forge of the Deradium Dagger of the Exarch. No other forge in all the realm is capable of working with the incredibly rare material known as Deradium.
Architecture
This ancient magical Dwarven forge is fashioned in the image of a great owl with a series of intricate mirrors positioned throughout the rock beneath the surrounding mountain to capture the light of Aurelimoore's twin moons Astenna and Kynthia. The light of the moons helps to imbue the forge with some of its magical power, and also where it earns it's name.
Defenses
The first line of defense is the Lunar Smiths. Additionally they have created forge guardians and the spirits that assist with the forging of Deradium defend the forge.
Tourism
The Forge is not open to outsiders. Aside from the Lunar Smiths the only others permitted within its walls are high ranking members of The Lonomia Court. Any outsiders are viewed as trying to steal the secrets of the forge and are killed by the Lunar Smiths and the Forge Guardians they have created.
