Môr Olor

Môr Olor is a predominently Morifinwë city on the continent of Nyrellhei. A sprawling city hidden deep within the mountains is the largest of the Morifinwë cities in all of Aurelimoore, often referred to as the City of Shadows for its lack of natural light. It is home to the largest concentration of followers of Pravaena the Lady of Nightmares. It is believed that it was her home before the fall of shards and her ascension to becoming a goddess.
It is the place in Aurelimoore that has the highest number of followers of Pravaena the Lady of Nightmares. She is the primary divine of the Morifinwë that reside in the city. A powerful magic enchantment from during the Age of Arcaneum has been cast over the city. This enchantment allows the city to remain in eternal night along with the surrounding forested area.

Môr Olor is made up of 90% Morifinwë, 6% other Elves, 3% Humans, and 1% others.

Government

The city has many different factions, or Houses, all of which vie for power. Though officially Môr Olor is led by the Council of the Nine, with each of the nine most prominent Houses each holding a seat on the council, it is no secret that the Nine answer to the Matriarch of the Ancients. None truely know which house the Matriarch of the Ancients belongs to, as her bloodline is ancient and long forgotten, but her rule is absolute and the council begrudgingly has to fall in line with her will. Most of the Nine claim that their House is linked to the Matriarch's bloodline. The reality is that she is more than likely connected to all of them, however none truely know.

Geography

An ancient enchantment from the Age of Arcaneum has cast the city and it's surrounding forrests into eternal night.
