Blights

Blights come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and forms they are awakened plants that originated with The Fall of Shards. When the shards corrupted the forests and jungles, blights sprung up from the undergrowth they resemble dead versions of their original plants. Some sects of druids have managed to weave their magics to be able to control blights, being able to summon them from dead vegetation to fight at their side. The blights often take on a humanoid form.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Comprised of dead and decaying plant matter, blights take on a variety of forms. Many times they have a humanoid shape to them. Ranging from vines, to small saplings, to needle covered, and all manner of other plant like structures and appendages.

Some variants of blights even carry parasitic spores that can reanimate tissue.
