The Spotted Squid
The Spotted Squid is an old tavern located near the docks.
The floor boards are creaky and the tables look like they have been here for generations.
Some of the people here appear to be rough looking fishermen and sailors, others appear to be merchants or regular towns folk. The stone fireplace provides a nice amount of heat to keep the patrons here warm. Outside is a crude wooden shelter that is used not for horses of travellers but instead houses chickens, pigs and goats. On the walls are various strange looking shells and barnacle encrusted objects mounted, presumably things found by fishermen out at see.
One of the objects mounted on the wall looks like a four pointed star, it is heavily encrusted with coral, barnacle and a layer of calcification so it is impossible to determine what material it is made of just by looking at it.
