Rikkanesh annual battleaxe throwing competition

Once a year at the beginning of autumn in the barony of Rikkanesh the dwarves of many different mountain homes organise a battleaxe throwing competition.
There is food and drink that is paid for by the ruling baron.
The winner of the competition wins a well made golden cup with engravings of their name and the year they won the cup.

History

After the war of vengence, the baron Izeg Brimfrost the bloodthirsty ordered that all dwarves of Rikkanesh are to celebrate the victory by hosting an axe throwing competition every year.
The tradition has stuck ever since.

Participants

Anyone can participate.
The local captain of the guard is the judge and the one who hands the golden cup to the winner of the competition.

Observance

There is no set date for it, it is simply hosted on a random day in early autumn.
