An ogre (feminine: "ogress") is a monster that is a large, hideous, man-like being that eats any creature weak enough to fall prey to it. Ogres are often very large and tall and have a disproportionately large head, abundant hair, unusually coloured skin ranging from orange to yellow to various shades of brown, a voracious appetite and a strong body. They have some regenerative ability.
Genetics and Reproduction
Ogres can reproduce all year round and are pregnant for 10 months before giving birth.
Ecology and Habitats
Ogres can live almost anywhere, from green forests to cold caves and hot deserts.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They mainly eat raw meat which they hunt or scavange, they are indiscriminate on what kind of meat they consume. They often store their food in a pile in their lairs. They occasionally have been reported to cook their meals in crude large metal pots.
Ogres have primitive tribal societies.
Usually not very intelligent which is one of their weaknesses.
Civilization and Culture
Names such as Tok, Gik, Tor, Hob, Frel and Pan are often used by ogres to name themselves.
Average Technological Level
Ogres are stuck in the stone age, mentally and technologically. They use stone tools, clubs and use simple hide clothing.
Common Dress Code
A simple loincloth is usually the only form of clothing this species wears.
Stealing an ogres food can enrage it to the point of starting a lethal fight.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Ogres see the other intelligent races more as a food source than anything else.
