A Mermaid (female) or Merman (male) is an intelligent aquatic creature that lives in both salt and freshwater. They possess the head and upper body of a human and the tail of a fish.
These are peaceful creatures that try to keep away from the eyes of other humanoids.
They are often mistaken for Sirens and vice versa.
