He is one of the oldest members in the camp, having been in the colony since 975.
Unlike other diggers, he actually enjoys the work as a digger and wouldn't change it for anything else. He helped most of the current people in The old camp situate themselves and lended general advice. Therefore almost everyone in the camp knows and likes him.
He is getting a bit old now, so only goes to work in The old mine 2 days a week. Most of his money now comes from helping people fix their relations with others in the camp for a fee.
