Corlan rules the Alethean Pantheon with the goal of maintaining the peace and stability of The Accord. Additionally, Corlan knows that Asmodeus, Lord of the Nine Hells is planning and preparing for an invasion and war of Auras, though he does not know what purpose the Archfiend intends or why he picked Auras as his target.
Corlan has turned much of the Alethean Pantheon's activity towards defense and preparation for that coming conflict.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Corlan's avatars appear much like a human although much taller and alarmingly thin, almost dessicated, frail even. He usually manifests wrapped neck to foot in silk and linen bandages beneath his clothing, except for his face, hands, and fingers. His skin is alabaster pale with a faint blue tinge. He wears a kilt-like skirt with a silver belt and a ceremonial looking breastplate and neck guard under a deep indigo cloak with the hood pulled forward and very light shoulder-guards over the cloak.

Body Features

Most of Corlan's skin is obscured by the bandages covering his body beneath his cloak and clothes, but his fingers and hands are mostly exposed and reveal a pale flesh with a slightly blue tinting beneath, hinting at pigmentation in the lower layers of dermis. Only a few locks of long, dark green hair escape the hood of his cloak

Facial Features

Corlan's face is not exactly wrinkled but has worry lines and crow's feet at the corners of his eyes and mouth. His base race is indeterminable, but most like a human. The bandage wrappings cover most of his body up to his neck and around his forehead, but also leave his face and hair unobstructed. His eyes are sharp and alert, set evenly above his patrician nose. His mouth is somewhat small with thin lips

Physical quirks

He moves smoothly, slowly, and fluidly; but walks with a slightly shuffling gait. Corlan's posture is hunched and somewhat withdrawn like an introvert in a large crowd. he is also right-handed.

Special abilities

Godhood.

Apparel & Accessories

Boots: Knee high suede with a turned down cuff and silver embroidered scrollwork around the cuff. They function as Haunted Shoes from the Pathfinder Campaign Setting.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Corlan was a member of the Council of Aleth, which was the group of heroes who set out to conquer the lords of the elemental forces of Auras. Corlan had been the one to discover the Ritual of Binding, which would remove the armies of elementals that threatened the world's existence. Once that ritual failed and The Grande Sourcestone fractured; Corlan caught the brunt of the backlash and channeled as much of it as he could through the ritual circle, the elemental lords, and the council members; which resulted in their ascending to godhood.
After that, Corlan took the lead in the renewed struggle to tame the elements. He was able to bring the newly ascended deities together and work out The Accord of Aleth. Since then he has ruled the Alethean Pantheon and striven to guide the world towards a path of mostly balance and growth.

History

Corlan's initial view of Rybech was unease as her ascension to goddesshood was unexpected and through much of the balance of power among the Alethean Pantheon into question. However he secretly supported her opposition to Kharen during the War of Destinies, and the two became friends. He was firmly on the side of her and the other members of the Ascended Court during the period of high tension between Auras's firstborn deities and the first generation of those who rose later.
