Diggogg

Feasts on the vast, interconnected roots of the windwheel trees of Windy Forest.
Diggogg are almost never seen on the surface. The windwheel root system goes for miles deep. Areas where the roots penetrate underground aquifers make an ideal home for the creatures.
Sharp teeth. Comically long snoot. Look pretty scary, but they're vegetarians.

Anatomy

Diggoggs have very long bodies & noses accompanied by stubby tails & ears. They have smooth, fine fur & powerful burrowing claws. Crystallized Ether congregates above the tip of the nose.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Most of the light that they encounter in the earth's depths are from ether crystals.
