Carlotta Epigynia Webb

Carlotta Webb is the wife of drow industrialist Lukas Webb and mother of Axel Webb. As a silksworn occultist, she wears spider silk garments created in her husband's silk factories. She is shallow and distant, with a cigarette in her long elegant cigarette holder that she smokes with hazy expression that makes her seem etherial and above it all.

Family Ties

As a human, Carlotta is much younger than her drow husband. Carlotta was just sixteen years old when she got pregnant with her son, Axel. Before the birth, she and Lukas, who was over a hundred years her senior, got married. Despite her sympathetic backstory, Carlotta is not a good person.

When he was still a child, Carlotta treated her son like a party accessory, bringing him out to be cooed over by her socialite friend circles, but otherwise Axel was expected to keep out the way. She disliked him showing emotions, expecting him to "save his tears for the pillow."

Given her vacant demeanor, it is possible that at least some of Carlotta's mind has been manipulated by her husband's mesmerism abilities, but even if so, her shallow affects are certainly amplified by the ennui of wealth.
