Spine of the Dragon

The Spine of the Dragon is a mountain range that extends North/South from the Mountains of Winter's Shadow down to a southern terminus near Naro's Coast. The mountains themselves are not particularly tall, however their sides are notoriously steep and sheer, making the movements of armies difficult but not posing a significant barrier to a determined climber.
They currently form the boundary between the Kingdom of Lysandria and the Twin Kingdoms of Orle and Lonne. One settlement on the mountains, Paizmin, has declared its independence from both sides.
Ways around the Spine of the Dragon include Naro's Coast and the Paiszmen Pass.
