Nordenlant

Nordenlanters are a hardy people that have a long tradition of being fierce warriors.  In the past they have had a subculture of raiding and shipping off their younger sons to earn thier own kingdoms and lands.  Because of this their descendants have holdings in many other areas of the Western Kingdoms. They themselves are raided by svartelves and giants.  Most Nordenlant cities have a couple of temples to the Gods of Man but for the most part worship the Nordic pantheon.  Currently Nordenlant is the only Western Kingdom to have any settlements on the continent of Atlantica.  They are isolated away from the horrors of the The Dark Coast by distance, and remain small relatively isolated fishing and trading villages primarily dedicated to the fur trade.
