The Search for Family - Yíklik
Raom, a wandering elfling cleric of Cyrrollalee, wants to find and save Yíklik the Goblin from his death sentence in a nearby town and is having difficulty doing so by persuading the town because they believe him to be aligned with the goblin and even to be a goblin in disguise.
The town in which Yíklik is imprisoned is a xenophobic hamlet in a mountainous region known for goblin raiding parties. It is a frontier town focused on mining ore from the nearby mountains. The town is not well established and must continually rebuild due to the raiding parties.
The town of Orenoc wants to hang Yíklik the Goblin for goblin crimes against the people (that he is not responsible for) by the next full moon, which is in 4 days time, and is having difficulty doing so because people keep intervening.
While this is happening, some of the townsfolk have mysteriously begun to fall ill (and die).

Structure
Exposition
Raom is an elfling wandering cleric who searches for other outcasts to join his band of pacifist misfits. He does so by listening for rumors of odd persons who don’t seem to fit in or of persons believed to be evil doing no wrong. When he hears these rumors, him and his troupe head off to find them, sometimes enlisting the help of adventurers along the way.
Conflict
Orenoc miners went off to work in the nearby caves when they came across a goblin asleep in their cave. Being that the creature was a goblin, the miners beat him senseless and tied him up to later have him thrown in the stocks—the plan is to hang Yiklik in four days time for goblin crimes against the town, however, he is not responsible.
Rising Action
Hearing of this, Raom went to Orenoc to negotiate the goblin's freedom, but their xenophobic attitudes turned against him and he was run out of town on the grounds of being a goblin conspiritor, or perhaps even a goblin in disguise.
Raom sends the PCs on a quest to save Yíklik the goblin from the town of Orenoc.
