Elves of Nûrdæn

Elves of Nûrdæn are descendants of the original Elder Elves from eons past.
Following the sundering of the Elder elves civilization by the gods and again following their civil war, the elves spread across the continent, above and below.
Due to elves inherent connection to magic and the natural world they have evolved into a variety of subspecies, adapting to their environments or divine calling.

Arctic Elves

Found in the cold regions of the continent. Made up mostly of primitive tribal communities with only one known civilized settlement.

Dawn (High) Elves

The most common elves on the continent. Few advanced settlements, Primitive tribes spread across the continent.

Dark Elves (Drow)

Found with the Underdark or deep lands. Many advanced Settlements, Some primitive tribes

Elder Elves

The original elves. The first born of the gods. Long ago extinct as a people on this continent.

Fire Elves

Non-primitive, Settled, Tribal

Half-elves

As the name suggest. The result of a union between an elf and another race. Many can be found in the Nations of Eranor and Dagathur.

Mountain (Grey) Elves

Closest releation the the Elder elves. They primarliy reside in the Isolated mountain nation of Athydallia. They have an advanced culture and society. Society wise they are xenophobic and haughty toward outsiders.
