The food of the Shelf, especially the capital Darkshelf, is full of spices and combinations of many cultures and ethnicities. While most recipes stick to the elvish routes; there have been those who have been known to go with an entirely different style and taste, while there are others who try and blend styles creating unique fusions of different cultural foods.   Julio's Pizzeria, as it was first called, is no exception to this even today. The head chef, Julio himself, has taken the loved elf-bread of the community and flattened it, spreading loved nightshades like a sauce made from tomatoes and oregano mixed seasonings. This dish, known as the Classic on todays menu, was the first concept of what he called the 'Pizza'. As customers came to his restaurant the building grew. It was at this time he gained a protégé in [Redacted]. A quick learned [Redacted] stayed even through the hard times of draught and famine on the Shelf. It was because of this clear perseverance and determination to the craft that Julio would take [him/her] as his protégé. Eventually [Redacted] would take over the new location, along with the new name of Julio's One-And-Only Animatronic Theater and Famous Pizzeria, while Julio maintained the original location name in all.   The original location is only open however during the summer months of the Shelf, and it is closed during the other months, as Julio spends that time looking for new ingredients and enjoying his days.
The doorbell rings as you push the great wooden door open. Immediately you are greeted by a mechanical voice "Welcome to Julio's Famous Pizzeria and Animatronic Theater! The One and Only!" and a large que depending on the time of day you visit. Somewhere in the back of the building the smell of baking bread and fresh ingredients is mixed with the sounds of cooks knifes and rolling pins hitting boards. As you take your seat at one of the booths a curtain drawn open and you see the nights entertainment. A collection of 5 constructs, each affixed with a permanent instrument begin playing their eternal set of popular music.
— A Critics Experience
On the menu today are many new creations since the days of the Classic. Julio and [Redacted] would create an evolution on the dish by adding a layer of cheese to the dish. This was instantly a hit with the locals, who began requesting various ingredients to be added notoph of the cheese during the baking process. The first of the requested ingredients, legend goes, are pizzas with meat. Spicy meat was supposedly used first, as it would make the people of the Shelf sweat, keeping them cool during the long warm months that they endure. Eventually between then and now, more exotic ingredients became available, and pizzas with various fruits, vegetables, and delectable meats where added to the menu.   If you where to ask any local which pizza is their favorite you will get many different answers, but ask Chef [Redacted] and [he/she] will tell you that their favorite is the evolution of the Classic that they co-created all those years ago, which can be found on the menu today as the Remix.

The Original Location

This two structure building opens on one of the main trade bazaars of the Shelf. Boasting a large shaded patio with a small (1-foot 3-inch tall) wooden fence that sections off the area from common travel. Water Candles burn at each table, creating a nice cool mist that keeps the patio area even cooler during the hot desert days.    The pizzeria itself is made of adobe mud bricks and uses large wooden posts inside to keep the second story and roof up. The interior is lit by many magical balls of light suspended over tables and clingy to the walls and ceiling.

The Famous Theater and Pizzeria

This three story structure is made of similar materials of the original, also using adobe mud bricks and wooden posts. This building however represents an opera house, with the center of all three floors being open to view a stage on the first floor. The seating of the second and third floor is elevated towards the back to allow proper viewing and hearing of the theater, and tables and chairs are positioned to always allow a view of the stage.

Pizza Stage and Band

Towards the back of the building is a stage where animatronic creatures play during interludes of plays, a 'Pizza Band' if one will, selling pizza and pizza related product advertising to the customers and patrons, usually in the form of 'Pizza Songs' - popular songs with minor lyrical changes to make them be about pizza. Most of the plays that occur on the stage aren't tacky like the songs, and usually include popular performances of the time. Only a small handful that have been put on have been about pizza.
