Star Eater

The Star Eater is an abomination that consumes mana and energy; something along the lines of a living black hole, although it does not absorb physical matter. It is pure consumption, the first motes of the end.
It appears as a humanoid figure of shadow, with dozens of shadow-tendrils. It has two deep purple eyes and a crackling, echoing voice without emotion

It was the Star Eater that caused the devastation of Kirdrel. According to Tiran:

It came from the sky. A falling star came, and it struck the land to the south, destroying a great deal in the process, and the dust it raised blotted out the very sky. It blighted the land, making it so nothing grew in the areas around it, and creatures fled before it as it came toward us. Our greatest warriors fell in their attempts to slay it. Now I know why, and my heart bleeds at their sacrifices. In the end, the priesthood beseeched our gods for a solution, and they offered an avenue for escape for our people.

Tiran has been keeping it trapped in the shielded city of Evrintar.
Evelyn manages to destroy the Star Eater.
