Massacre of the Purple Hills

During the conquest of Peldra , one of the generals lured Evelyn Esendria Tarth into a battle by falsely claiming that he'd been responsible for her parents being executed. This resulted in Evelyn destroying his army and imprisoning his soul below the location. The location's magic has made the Purple Hills uninhabitable ever since, as magi attempt to bleed off the magic and repair the damaged ley lines.
