Cherys the White
Cherys the White is a human woman who is the mother of Nadia. She has sun-bronzed skin, dark hair and brown eyes.
'White' refers to her skill with magic, which specifically is the realm of weather magic. On her home world she was the best weather mage in the eastern reach, possibly the best of her entire generation.
She is also experienced at enchantment magic and this provided much of her income. She is now using her enchantment skills to make items for the crew of the Djinn's Gift as well as items for Evelyn to sell.
Her husband died in an accident. He was helping evacuate a seaside town after an earthquake, and part of the town slid into the ocean.

Cherys and her daughter were rescued by Evelyn from the Ruined Castle found floating in the Astral.
