Calisar the Black
One of the pirate kings and leader of the Black Dragon Pirates, Calisar is a calculating, intelligent villain who is all but the ruling authority in the space which he has claimed. He's a dragon of significant power, and his ship is the
Ebon Talon, a dreadnought which is one of the most advanced starships in known space. He owns the space station Abyss.
He has a fondness for music and art of all varieties, and is surprisingly personable when others meet him. He not only doesn't raid ships that pay a protection fee in his space, but actively protects them, while anyone else has to hope they don't draw his ire. He pays taxes, and is the most refined of the kings, with a small nation and large fleet of his own.
His relationship with the draconic clans is complicated, as he is listed as being on a long-term sabbatical rather than being exiled as a rogue dragon. Those who ask him about it are told, rather sardonically, that they don't want to lose his taxes.
Calisar runs his faction with an iron fist. He is very focused on proper presentation from his subordinates, even if personally he’s just as likely to show up looking like an average punk.
In humanoid form he is an elf with unusually pointed teeth.
