Yoren

A human illusionist and former drug addict, Yoren was the survivor of a shipwreck when the Maelstrom Heroes found him. He helped them in defeating the Cult of Reclamation but his motivations often seemed obscure as he hid his drug addiction from others. Any treasure Yoren found was quickly bartered off to acquire more drugs. Despite his addiction, the illusionist proved an integral ally to the heroes in stopping the Cult of Reclamation and ultimately killing Kabar, Harbinger of the Corruptor. However, when Luther betrayed them all to join with the Demon Lord Zoul, the Corruptor, Yoren died fighting his former ally. Yoren along with Czimor were later resurrected at the Sunstone. During his death, Yoren saw the light of Pelor and upon his return to life, swore an oath to become a knight of the Sun Father. He gave up his drugs and devoted himself to Pelor along with young Jason. However, like Czimor, Yoren soon begun having terrible nightmares of the Dark Reality that slowly drove him mad. Currently, Yoren is still at the Sunstone.

Dark Reality

In the Dark Reality, the heroes failed to stop Luther/Zoul and instead the demon lord corrupted them just as he had corrupted Luther. The fate of Yoren in this reality is uncertain but the Light Reality heroes already know that Zoul has the dark versions of Karissa and Shak Rah at his side.
