Teleportation Wagon
Although the Republic could never field mages in open warfare, they readily apply their magics through auxiliary support. These wagons were created to let the army send troops to the battlefield anywhere they want without having to send the wizards with them.
Propulsion
The wagon needs to be manually pulled or pushed. Usually transported to battlefields with the help of oxen and then moved to its final position by a hand.
Weapons & Armament
None, it needs to be guarded until it reaches its destination and finishes its deployment.
Armor and defense
The wagon is built out of steel and completely encapsulates the circle within to protect it from harm. Though it has no defensive systems built into its design, the wagon is escorted by some of the army's most elite troops.
Communication Tools & Systems
A teleportation circle has been carved into the floor of the wagon, and a massive flare is strapped to its side. Once the wagon has reached its intended destination the signal flare is lit. Wizards are standing at the ready at a distant location, together with a regiment of troops, and as soon as they see the signal they start casting their teleportation circle spells. One minute later the portal opens up and republic troops storm through it for the few seconds it remains open. This is done in a rigorously trained sequence where one wizard starts casting their spell exactly ten seconds after the one before them. Through this method, an almost constant stream of soldiers can exit through the portal to the battlefield.
