The Beautiful Court
Sebastien has a very special group of people that he “collects” to be part of his extended court. These people are usually the incredibly beautiful, the incredibly gifted, the incredibly intelligent, or the incredibly interesting. He finds these people wherever he travels and makes a point to “court” them in an attempt to gather them to his little group. He has massive parties a few times a year where he invites his court to the palace to have a massive celebration of being, well, incredible. Whenever he travels outside of the country he always finds his way into being invited to other parties so that he may visit his court members or find more to recruit. The name is flowery and overdramatic, but Sebastien has always been fond of theatrics.

The strangest thing about this court is that Sebastien seems to have no concern for social class or political standing. Commoners are invited to his court as well as children of politicians and other world leaders. A farmer’s daughter can mingle with a Numarian duchess, two lords of Amaranta can play chess with a pair of dockhands from the southern sea ports. Sebastien doesn’t care about your class, only your ability to delight himself and others with whatever it is that he finds special about you.
The international joke is that his court is his own personal harem, despite the fact that none of them live at the palace. More often than not he carries on physically intimate relationships with some of his court members and is thought of as an enormous flirt and playboy. The reputation is not entirely unearned, as he is incredibly prolific in his flirtations. It is in his blood, after all, seeing as he is half-Siren through his mother, the Empress. It seems that he inherited most of his mother’s race’s inclinations, especially his fondness for wild and passionate flings with those in and out of his court. He has his favorite lovers that he will often be seen with, but he does not seem to be attached to any one person in particular.
You don’t apply to be a part of the prince’s court, he must invite you himself. You must first catch his eye by being interesting, beautiful, intelligent, or gifted. Then you have to wait. You don’t seek out the prince, he seeks you out. He converses with you, fetes you, bonds with you in some form or other. And then, if you become part of the court, he will send you a letter of invitation with a small gift enclosed. This gift is a piece of jewelry with a lily on it, the prince’s personal symbol. The gifts are coveted by those who wish to receive them, and highly envied. Those members of the court will display these jewelry pieces as a reminder to others that they are part of a special court that no one else has access to.
Structure
The only major role is that belonging to Sebastien himself. He is the leader, the collector, the cultivator. Everyone else is his Lily, his precious bouquet.
Public Agenda
A social club of people that Sebastien fancies for whatever reason. The public can't wrap their minds around the wide range of people in the court, so they simply write it off as an eccentricity of the young prince.
History
Formed by Sebastien when he was in his late teens when he wanted to have an excuse to meet up with his various friends from different walks of life. He wanted a reason for a farmer's daughter to be in the same room as a duchess. So he formed the court so he could have all his friends at the same time.
