Chip is a member of The Tesla Commandos and Crafty Tinkerer, he excels in fabrication and inventing, he is very intelligent with high technological understanding.

In the past, in his early years of first being developed, he worked as a guard to The Observatory and he ended up assisting The Librarian and learning a little bit off of him, once Chip had a different guard shift change and stopped working near The Librarian he started his own research and strived to impress The Librarian and when he got transferred to a special ops team one day due to his intelligence he also then tried to impress them, he typically seeks validation. Due to this he overworks himself sometimes, he has insomnia and OPCD
