A series of sacred texts inspired by
Adar and written down and expanded upon by
Saint Bartelam and all subsequent Highest Fathers, the
Enlightened Holy Doctrine of the Anointed Order of Adar is the primary doctrine and holy text of the
Anointed Order of Adar.
Before It All
Before the beginning of time, the
threads were erratic and spread out, without purpose or design. They flowed through the nothingness, approaching one another but never making contact. Aside from these threads, there existed a light. This light ebbed and flowed, shone and dimmed. It moved about the threads, studying them. At some point, it decided it had studied enough. It took some of these threads and began to combine them together, making a beautiful tapestry. This tapestry is called the
Weave.
The light kept adding to the Weave, making it more and more complex as he went along. When the light felt that the Weave was sufficiently complex, he split some of the threads off into a separate branch. This branch, like the main tapestry itself, he began to form into its own beautiful design.
It is in this way that Adar went from a being of light to something more. Gone were the days of floating around endlessly in the void, he used this new form he had created to manipulate the Weave until he had finished his first creation. The mundane world.
The Creation Of Ashua
When the first threads of
Ashua were woven together, the world was void of all features. It was Adar who gave it form, forming the lands where oceans and mountains would be as a potter might knead his clay. Water flowed from his mouth, filling the oceans in a day. As he filled the oceans, he began weaving directly into his creation, causing the life to spring forth.
