Saint Bartelam, born Bartelam Pendry, is the founder and first Highest Father of the Anointed Order of Adar, the most widespread religious sect of Adarianism.

Death
The circumstances surrounding his death are as interesting as they are unable to be proven. It has been claimed by multiple supposed witnesses that he simply tidied up his meager quarters, walked out the front door of the Holy Cathedral of the Burning Light, and disappeared in a flash of light. One account says Adar himself came down from the Home Above in a flaming chariot, and that they rode off into the sky, disappearing over the horizon in seconds. Still others claim he simply vanished, that they saw him go into his quarters and left our realm. None can say for sure, and the events of the past tend to get more and more embellished the further back we look. What can be said for certain, however, is that Saint Bartelam started a movement that has since transformed the world, and that all who knew him look back upon him with a smile on their face and pleasant memories in their heart.
