Lordship of Mathan
The center of the Eternal Lordships, Mathan contains the massive megacity of Illis Vahadell, built on top of a lake that Celestial Lord Imizael carved out of the earth. The fertile countryside of Mathan serves primarily as the breadbasket of the Lordships, with sprawling farmsteads staffed by 'indentured servants' churning out foodstuffs to be exported across the realms. Residing in the city's Divine Spire, Imizael leaves administration to his army of descendents through the Privy Council, many of whom have become experienced bureaucrats, soldiers, mages and philosophers. The Eternal Lord’s most public appearance is on the Day of Judgement, when any Elf can come to adjudicate disputes before the Celestial Lord in person.
